Phillies are willing to move Minor League picks to get a second pick in the first round of the MLB draft. Hit me up with ideas.

Altuve was pretty locked in at 2nd overall on my list. A second baseman that rakes like he does, steals bases. Agreed but was thinking we may have had people over think the dynasty aspect. Hmm. I think he's still solid for dynasty purposes. Interesting thing is there is no consensus on anything it seems. Cleveland posted that Trout was his #2, which shows this.

Things worked out well for the Yankees. Good for them. That scrappy little club could use a break. Correa is a steal even at #4. I had him at #1 over Trout based on age (Correa is three years younger) and position (it's a bit tougher to find a quality offensive SS than CF). That Houston lineup will provide him with plenty of opportunities for R/RBI, as well.

I think watching this draft unfold will affirm just WHY Houston won the Series last year. They have some amazing young talent. Correa is awesome no question, younger, but I think Altuve will have more steals and hit for a bit better average. The other numbers pretty much balance out between the two. They are also both middle infielders. Don't think you go wrong with either.

I'm sure Harper went that late due to injury history but still think 5 is a steal

I'm sure Harper went that late due to injury history but still think 5 is a steal I was wondering when he would go. I think 5 is still a little low. I would have taken him sooner.

Hard to argue with who went ahead of Bryce, but yea I had him a bit higher on my list. If healthy and rolling his numbers could rival Trout (other than the SBs)...given he is also heading to Free Agency in a couple years you gotta figure he'll be motivated. Still also young. I think with SS, 2 and 3 going among the top 4, folks placed a premium on those positions. It's the only reason I ranked Altuve ahead of Harper, that and Altuve will get more steals. That said, his age (27) is at that point where his dynasty value does slide a bit. I was really torn on 27 years old for a first pick.

There's already talk of Altuve moving to the OF (probably LF) before too long. He's been a slightly below-average defender at 2B for the past two years and playing LF will help save his legs.

The two guys I have ahead of him that are still on the board are SS, or have SS eligibility, anyways, so maybe your theory is correct (the top 3 left on my board are SS, actually).

Are the picks entered into Fantrax as we go? I don't know about everyone else, but my list doesn't have 1,200 players on it and I'm guessing I couldn't find a 1,200 player dynasty ranking list if I tried. At some point it's going to be very hard to know who has been taken (without going through 50 pages of draft thread) and who is available -- let alone to have an idea of how to rank the guys that are taken past the first 10 or so rounds.

DING! We need to make sure there are no double draft picks, where someone drafts a player already drafted. What I am personally doing is marking off players as they are picked. But I could certainly miss someone. Would completely suck if the same player was drafted by two teams in say round 9 and no one caught it until the end of the draft. WHOOPS!!

Yes, the pics of been entered as soon as they are finished I don't see the players drafted on the teams in Fantrax. Am I doing something wrong?
